How to Remove Babylon & Conduit off your Browser
Babylon and conduit are probably two most irritating serach engines you’ll ever see. If you haven’t seen them yet, they come as a package with other popular pc softwares and auto install themselves when you install these desktop softwares. They integrate deeply with your browser and change your toolbar, homepage, search and new tabs. You probably wont recall install any such toolbars. There are lot similar programs like search-results, avg, comcast etc. Here’s how to remove them completely off your browser.
Uninstall Software
> Open control panel > uninstall a program and search for a programs that contains ‘babylon’ or ‘conduit’. Select them and click uninstall.
Remove Toolbars
> Go to Tools>add-ons>extenstions and disable the babylon, conduit and any other toolbars you find fishy.
Remove Traces
> For firefox type about:config in the address bar of your browser and hit enter, ignore the
warning.
> Enter ‘babylon’ or ‘conduit’ in the search option and hit enter.
> Right click on all the results and click reset.
Restart your browser and you’re back to you good old browser ![]()
