Clean Your Laptop Screen The Right Way
Cleaning your laptop screen is very essential to get rid of everyday dust that can damage your display & of-course to clear glossy screen too
. At the same time you should be careful, If you don’t, you could potentially damage the screen and leave scratches on it that are impossible to get out. The same applies for other gadget screens.
First things first you ‘Prevention is better than Cure’ so use a laptop screen guard while you can.
To clean your laptop in proper way follow these simple steps
1>Prepare your solution: Most people use tap water/mineral water, DON’T use these. Get Isopropyl alcohol easily available at drugstores and supermarkets. Because it evaporates quickly and doesn’t leave a residue, isopropyl alcohol is safe to use on electronic equipment and LCD displays. If cant afford this or too lazy to move your butt use Distilled/Purified water. If you already have isopropyl alcohol mix that with distilled water in 1:1 ratio.
2>Prepare your cloth: Get a clean and soft cotton cloth, type of cloth used to clean eyeglasses is a good choice. In other words a Liny free cloth. Do not use: paper towels, facial tissues, or scratchy or abrasive cloths. Use a dry cotton cloth first to remove dry dust. Dampen the cloth with the solution mentioned aboveit should be slightly moistened rather than very wet. Never spray anything directly on the computer, the liquid should go on the cloth first.
3>Clean Gently Switch off the monitor and GENTLY wipe the surface of your laptop screen using a top to bottom motion. Clean the edges of your laptop screen by dipping cotton swab in the alcohol-water solution. Ensure that the solution does not drip over the laptop.
