Aci Icon 1100, the world’s cheapest,fully functional laptop is finally here in India! Aci or Allied Computers International, a laptop specialist brand from UK launched its cheapest laptop in Mumbai,India on 27 June 2012 among much hype.

Aci Icon 1100 will be retailed for as low as Rs.4999 and is being touted as the most affordable netbook till date.

2> It comes with 512MB of RAM which can be upgraded to 1GB.
3>  Its dimensions are 11 x 7.25 x 1 inches and it weighs in at 0.7kg(700 grams) with battery.

5> 4GB internal memory with 32GB expandable external memory.
6> CPU: via CPU
7> High definition audio for entertainment.

It is Windows compatible which makes it all the more acceptable among the masses.It is sold in India by the BSE listed company, Allied Computers International (Asia) Limited.

The “model B” of this laptop will be launched in the next 2 or 3 months as pointed out by Mr. Hirji Patel, Chairman, Allied Computers International (Asia).
